Buckeye ~ Patrick Ryan

A Beautiful Family ~ Jennifer Trevelyan

 ***

A rather sweet summer holiday story from the point of view of the young girl, Alex (sweet with solving a murder and exposing a pedophile)

Set in New Zealand; set in the 80's with plenty of nostalgia, friendship and family drama

Butter ~ Asako Yuzuki

Just didn't grab me. Might go  back to it

Broken Country ~ Clare Leslie Hall

**

Eminently forgettable lightweight read

Village romance, crime coverup, cardboard characters bleh

The Berry Pickers ~ Amanda Peters

Beautyland ~ Marie-Helene Bertino

The Bandit Queens ~ Parini Shroff

The Bright Sword ~ Lev Grossman

Brooklyn ~ Colm Toibin

The Beloved Wild ~ Melissa Ostrom

The Book Of Sand ~ Theo Clare (Mo Hayder)

Birdman ~ Mo Hayder

Watched TV series based on one of her books.  Good read

The Book Of Strange New Things ~ Michael Faber

Soooo long winded to get to not much

Bridge ~ Lauren Beukes

The Bee Sting ~ Paul Murray

** OK

Birnam Wood ~ Eleanor Catton

 DNF

Gave it a good try.  Got to about 25% and was tired of the lectures.

The Book Of The Goose ~ Yiyun Li

  A ** read for me

I took a gander and I know who the Goose is!  Me!

Just not me! (And that's a good thing) Very Meh

Babel ~ R. F. Kuang

The Bullet That Missed ~ Richard Osman

Beasts Of A Little Land ~ Juhea Kim

 ** OK

So lacking in connection to the characters

Historical background but all just a watered down backdrop for a romantic soap opera
